District Coverage Area
Southwest Suburban Sewer District serves a 10 square mile region of King County, Washington. It encompasses the Cities of Burien and Normandy Park, as well as portions of the Cities of Des Moines, Seatac and Seattle, and part of ValVue Sewer District. District corporate boundaries map.
 
The system is tributary to the District’s two treatment plants; Salmon Creek in the north and Miller Creek to the south. It consists of 288 miles of pipeline within these two drainage basins.
